The detectives are investigating how Hon Sankok’s son accessed his father’s short gun that he used to kill himself. The DCI officials travelled to the MPs home in Ewaso ng’iro to interrogate the member of parliament.
The MP’s 15 year old son killed himself shortly after a feud with his dad compelling the son to go back to school. According to reports, the son was apparently not willing to go back to school.
But the dad insisted that he should go to school. It seems like the son had his own reasons for refusing to go back to school. Unfortunately, the boy did not live to give out his own reasons, why he was reluctant to report back to school.
This was a very sad and heartbreaking incident and a lesson for parents to listen and reason with their children, especially teenagers.
