Hon Raila Odinga was almost assassinated when his entourage was stoned as he left the home of the late Kibor after his burial in Eldoret.
Uncouth youths suspected to have been paid to cause havoc and harm Azimio presidential candidate were determined to hurt Hon Raila Odinga.
Stones were thrown at his vehicle and later to his chopper, destroying the chopper windows. The Youths were chanting and throwing stones at the chopper as it flew up.
Leaders have condemned such an act including the presidential candidate of UDA DP Ruto. The Deputy President termed this act as uncivilized and promised to take action against politicians in his party that were involved.
