Orie rogo Manduli, a renowned politician and the first Kenyan woman rally driver dies. The family officially confirmed the death of Orie Rogo Manduli. She passed on at her river side home.

She was a very brave and independent thinker, who spoke out very insightfully, and advised Kenyan women as well as politicians.

She had a conspicuous fashion style admirable by most Kenyans. She loved dressing in heavy head scarf and African dresses, wherever she appeared in public, or on local TV stations.

She  attended Ng’iya Girls High School, then Butere Girls and later Machakos Girls. Orie participated in safari rally in 1974 and 1975. She will be dearly missed. May her soul Rest In Peace.
