Presenters at a radio station in Nakuru County were apparently robbed while they were live on air on Thursday night.
The presenters at the Mwinjoyo FM studios were going about their show normally when the robbery which was caught on camera occurred. The recorded video has been going viral on the internet.
A group of men in dark clothing and masks are seen storming the studio with guns and ordering the presenters to switch off the transmission and lie on the floor.
They then asked the presenters if anyone else was in the studio, possibly in an office upstairs, and if there were any CCTV cameras in place.
It is yet to be clear whether the presenters were injured. Phone and other valuables were stolen.
Nakuru East OCPD Martin Wekesa has since confirmed the incident, adding that it was already reported, and investigations are underway
