Drama unfolded in Tana River on Wednesday, April 12 when a daughter discovered that she has been sharing a lover with her mother.
The Malindi medical student decided to give her boyfriend a surprise visit when she encountered the unexpected. The lady was startled to see her mother, who was wrapped in a scarf, open the door.
The lady, said that she had introduced her lover to her mother last year when they visited her sick dad.
According to neighbors they were awakened by her hysterical laughing and furious scream, which drew their attention to the drama which was unfolding.
“The mother came out and pulled her inside the house to contain the situation and locked the door from the inside. We could hear that there was some commotion with the mother trying to explain herself in low tones,” said neigbor.
Before the boyfriend could calm the situation, the two got into a fight. The mother was seen leaving quietly after a short while leaving the daughter and boyfriend in the house.
“It is sad because they buried their father in the same month and they are yet to overcome the moment, then this happens,” said Ms Kweche.
The daughter was also seen leaving the house later holding her shoes in her hand, boarded a matatu and left
