A US delegation is expected to meet with former president Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto (President-elect), and Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
This comes just a few days after IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati declared William Ruto the winner of the recently concluded general election.
US Ambassador Meg Whitman welcomed the delegation led by Delaware Senator Chris Coons as they arrived the country on Wednesday evening.
The delegation is expected to visit five African countries.
The delegation will discuss issues such as health, security, and economic prosperity, among other things.
