Kenyans as expected, have taken to social media platforms to express their views over the deal being given to the two leaders, Mudavadi and Wetangula.
Moses Wetang’ula will be appointed the Speaker of the National Assembly, while Musalia Mudavadi will be named the prime Cabinet secretary. However, for this to happen the two leaders are required to secure 70% of the western votes for Ruto.

Most Kenyans have given their views on the matter, some questioning whether the two leaders will be able to deliver the 70% votes from the region. Others stating that it would be a tall order for them given the support Raila Odinga enjoys in the region.
@gabrieloguda commented:
“Mudavadi was smiling sheepishly at the BBI launch only to later join Posh Luhyas campaigning against the document. The guy has now been told to bring 70% of Western or the Constitution won’t be changed for him to get Chief Minister. Leo ndio amejua matapeli ni kina nani.”
@Allankariss replied:
“How will Musalia manage deliver 70% of western votes to Ruto! He has been setup to fail! Earthquake!”
@Alex Moyare commented:
“But it’s a tall order to ask MDVD & Weta to deliver 70 % of Western votes to Kenya Kwanza. Never in their history have they ever amassed such support from the region. Kazi ngumu Sana.”
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that the document also outlined how the 21 ministries will be shared should Ruto clinch the presidency.
The document indicated that Mudavadi and Wetang’ula would be allocated 30% of the appointive government positions, including the former’s Prime SC position and six additional Cabinet Secretary slots.
