Speaking in Kakamega on Saturday, ODM party leader Raila Odinga said that he will do his best to revive Kenya’s economy if elected as Kenya’s next president. He also added that he has been fighting many battles so far and now its his time to fight for Kenya’s economy. Kenya’s economy has lately surprised many Kenyans with the increase in food prices, many Kenyans are fighting hard to survive this.
During the rally Baba said his administration will also improve the health of its people by creating Baba care. Accompanied by Martha Karua, she said that Mount Kenya is ready for Baba as the next president. “If you need change we must have a change in our leadership”, said Martha Karua.
Peter Kenneth who was also present at the rally advised Kenyans to vote for leaders who can be entrusted by Kenyan resources and developmental plans.
The ODM leader has been welcoming leaders from different regions across the country who are joining the Azimio la Umoja Movement. On Thursday, Raila welcomed Kajiado Governor Joe Ole Lenku alongside 15 Members of County Assembly who had defected from the Jubilee party.
“We want to market Baba’s agenda to people. We are going to meet people on the ground because they are the one with votes we want to convince them that Raila is the best candidate for the top seat,” Osotsi told the Star.
On Monday(28th March 2022), Baba will visit Bungoma and engage with residents in Lumukanda, Malaga, Lukuyani, Pan Paper, and Kambiri.
Raila Odinga started his Western tour on Thursday the 24th.
