The Jubilee party Secretary General Raphael Tuju dared DP Ruto to help the hustlers recover the 7Billion Shs lost in the Arror and Kimwarrer dams saga. The DP said in public that, it was only Shs 7Billion that was unaccounted for in the two projects. It sounded like Shs 7B was just little money the way he framed it. Unfortunately, the two government projects are still stalled.

The two projects were unilaterally awarded to  Cooperativa Muratori Cementisti (CMC), which was used to siphon public money. During the award of the project, June Ruto, a daughter to DP Ruto was the deputy ambassador to Italy, according to Raphael Tuju. The deputy President made several trips to Italy in the time, which raised eyebrows.

Raphael Tuju sarcastically congratulated the DP for amassing wealth in 8 years he has been the deputy president of Kenya. DP Ruto has 5 choppers and several hotels in different parts of the country. He dared the DP to account how he amassed such wealth worth of billions of shillings in a span of 8 years’ period.

DP Ruto’s recent claims that his chicken business makes 1.5 million shillings a day, was met with awash of different reactions on social media platforms. Some questioned how was that practical with the current tough economic situation.

It is alleged that the chicken project was snatched away from a women group, which DP Ruto’s wife was a patron. This is contrary to DP Ruto’s narrative of hustler nation, which he claims that UDA party will embrace bottom up approach economic model to spur economic development, if he acquires government in 2022 general election.
